Our client is a global luxury jewelry brand renowned for its signature One True Love philosophy, offering high-end diamond rings and fine jewelry with a unique lifetime purchase commitment.
They are looking for a driven and well-connected Southeast Asia Expansion Manager to lead site selection and drive new store openings in top-tier malls across the region. This role focuses on market expansion, commercial negotiations, and building strong relationships with premium shopping mall partners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's expansion strategy in Southeast Asia, with a focus on identifying, evaluating, and securing prime retail locations.
- Lead the full site selection process, including market research, mall negotiations, rental discussions, feasibility assessments, and securing approvals.
- Leverage existing connections and build strong relationships with top-tier shopping malls to drive successful store openings.
- Coordinate internal resources and collaborate closely with the design, operations, and project teams to ensure smooth store launch execution.
- Drive business development efforts and external partnerships to support the company's retail expansion goals.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the management team.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in retail expansion or commercial leasing within the Southeast Asia market, with proven success in securing store locations in top-tier shopping malls.
- Strong network and established relationships with premium malls (e.g., Singapore, Malaysia, and other SEA regions).
- Familiarity with jewelry, luxury retail, high-end beauty, or fashion industries is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with strong ability to build and maintain landlord/mall relationships.
- Strong execution, coordination, and problem-solving abilities; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English is required due to frequent communication with headquarters.
