We are looking for Admin Assistant for our Supply Chain Management Department.

The role is a six month contract, extendable and may be converted to a perm position depending on the individual's work performance.

Planner

He/She will assist in creating Purchase Orders (PO) in a timely and accurate manner. Supporting invoice creation to ensure smooth billing cycles. Handling day-to-day system transactions. Monitoring outstanding POs and invoices, and following up with relevant stakeholders when required. Preparing reports and ensuring all supply chain documents are properly filed. And assisting in any ad-hoc tasks or projects.

  • Buyer

He/She will support purchasing functions, including inventory management, material reconciliation, and shipment tracking to ensure timely deliveries. Responsibilities involve assisting in cost reduction initiatives, setting up vendor codes, and improving purchasing activities. The role also includes following up on incoming materials, monitoring shipment status, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and generating weekly reports. Additionally, he/she will handle BOM issues, assist with vendor invoices, manage RFQs for new materials, and contribute to continuous improvement and cost control efforts in the purchasing process.

  • Logistics

He/She will assist in logistics and supply chain management, coordinating with alliance partners and third-party warehousing/transportation to ensure timely shipments. Responsibilities include handling shipping documentation, monitoring shipment progress, and collaborating with stakeholders for smooth delivery. The role involves data analysis of shipment metrics, inventory cycle counting, and generating reports for internal updates. He/She will also work with cross-functional teams (procurement, planning, warehousing, production) to maintain effective communication and support various stages of the SCM process, along with other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able work under pressure and fast-paced environment
  • Good team player and able to complete task assigned in shortest timeline
  • Must be independent and proactive
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • SAP knowledge is an added advantage
  • Able to commence work immediately or within short notice is preferred
