Our programmes utilise an effective experiment-based pedagogy to help students achieve breakthroughs in their understanding and performance in Science. Lessons are conducted both in-centre and online, incorporating live teacher demonstrations, guided discussions, and hands-on experiments to engage students meaningfully.
About the role
We are looking for a Flexi-Adjunct Science Teacher (Primary) to deliver engaging and effective science lessons for P3-P6 students.
This role focuses on strong lesson delivery, student understanding, and contributing to a consistent and high-quality learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach small class sizes of up to 12 students.
- Deliver structured and engaging science lessons using the centre's curriculum and teaching approach
- Explain concepts clearly and guide students in applying answering techniques
- Monitor student understanding and address learning gaps during lessons
- Mark students work, track their progress, and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain a safe, focused, and positive learning environment
- Build rapport with parents and provide updates on student progress termly
Job Requirements
- Degree in Science or related field (MOE/NIE-trained preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in primary science following MOE syllabus
- Strong subject knowledge with clear and structured explanation style
- Able to engage students and manage classroom effectively
- Responsible, consistent, and organised in lesson preparation and marking
- Open to feedback and continuous improvement
- Willing to adopt the Company's teaching approach and pedagogy
- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Competitive remuneration rates: $280 to $744 per class (.range is based on one class per month, depending on experience, class level, and class size - excludes performance bonus.)
