Science Laboratory Technician

Job Description

• Assist with daily operations of science laboratories, science gardens, aquaponics, hydroponics and ponds.
• Set up, clean and maintain science laboratories and related areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Recycling Corner.
• Prepare laboratory equipment, apparatus and teaching materials for activities.
• Assist with stock-taking and equipment maintenance.
• Type worksheets and teaching notes.
• Support departmental events, activities and programmes.
• Perform other duties assigned by the school.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to operate electronic devices such as hydroponics and aquaponics systems.
• Able to perform basic gardening tasks such as weeding, planting and watering.
• More than 2 years of relevant experience preferred, especially in a school environment.
