Job Description

Working Hour

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm
  • Fridays: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

Key Responsibilities (During School Term):

  • Assist teachers with classroom management and maintain discipline during lessons

  • Supervise and manage detention classes (Responsibility In Action) during afternoons or mornings (Monday to Friday)

  • Support Discipline Master and Operations Manager in handling disciplinary cases

  • Manage student movement and behaviour during internal and national exams

  • Detain or counsel students outside the General Office or designated areas until staff are available

  • Patrol school premises before, during, and between lesson periods

  • Conduct patrols at nearby shops and shopping centres to manage student misbehaviour after school hours or during holidays

  • Maintain student discipline during school events (e.g., Speech Day, CCA Orientation, post-exam activities, talks by Police/CNB/SS, Smoking Cessation Programme)

  • Analyse discipline data (e.g., latecoming, truancy) and identify at-risk students for early intervention

  • Support administrative/operations duties (e.g., fault reporting, asset/store management) on non-discipline days

  • Perform other duties as assigned by school leadership (Principal, Vice-Principals, Discipline Master, Admin/Operations Managers)

Key Responsibilities (During School Holidays):

  • Maintain student discipline during school functions and activities

  • Supervise students during term breaks, June and Nov/Dec holidays

  • Assist with November holiday programmes (e.g., Sec 3 Bridging Programme)

  • Support teachers in conducting home visits

  • Continue assisting Discipline Master and Operations Manager with disciplinary cases

  • Patrol school premises and surrounding areas

  • Manage students during release of N and O Level results

  • Assist with Sec 1 registration and manage new students/parents

  • Support administrative/operations duties as needed

  • Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by school leadership

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience working with teenagers in a school environment (preferred)

  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
