School of Sports and Health - CET Associate Lecturer (Sport and Exercise Science)

[What you will be working on]

The CET Associate Lecturers for Sport and Exercise Science will contribute and deliver modules or courses in the following areas:
.Strength and Conditioning
.Exercise Programming and Assessment
.Sports and Exercise Prescription

[What we are looking for]

. Relevant qualification in physical education, exercise science or related disciplines.
. Professional certification in strength and conditioning
. At least 1 year of practical high-performance and/or tactical strength and conditioning industry experience in the planning and delivery of strength and conditioning services.
. Candidates should be able to:
o coach strength and conditioning
o conduct fitness assessment
o demonstrate strength and conditioning exercises and drills
o plan periodised exercise prescription
. Self-driven team-players with growth mindset who:
o independently lead and inspire learners
o complete duties to team standards in a timely manner
o pay attention to detail
o have good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
o proficient with Microsoft Office, administrative tasks and mark academic assessment.
. Able to commit to at least 2 weekdays, and/or night/weekend classes during course runs.
