Job Description

[What the role is]

Lecturer will undertake curriculum development and delivery of diploma-related modules as well as be involved in applied science-based research projects. Candidates should possess relevant work or research experience in the Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry.

[What you will be working on]

  • Teach relevant subjects in pre-employment and continuing education training programmes
  • Lead or participate in consultancy and research projects
  • Design and develop course materials for pre-employment and continuing education training programmes
  • Supervise students for projects
  • Mentor and assist in tracking students academic and non-academic performance
  • Partake in administrative duties related to the diploma course or within the school
  • Deliver planned curriculum to adult learners on scheduled weekday evenings or on weekends and participate in assessment activities

[What we are looking for]

  • Relevant qualification in the field of Life Science/Pharmaceutical Science-related disciplines.
  • Candidates should possess at least five years of relevant work experience in areas related to Bioprocessing, Quality Control and Assurance, Manufacturing Science and Technology and/or Healthcare Supply Chain.
  • Candidates should have strong industry links and exposure, with experience in related sectors
  • Candidates should be interested in strengthening the institute's professional network in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing sector
  • Relevant experience with Generative AI, Data Analytics and Sustainability will be advantageous.
  • Proficient in IT, planning, and organisation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
