SCHOOL FACILITIES CLEANER

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

. Previous experience as a cleaner, janitor or housekeeping staff (preferred but not required).

. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment use.

. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

. Good time management and organizational skills.

. Reliability, responsibility, and attention to detail.

JOB DETAILS:

. Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, libraries, laboratories, and other school facilities.

. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, furniture, and fixtures.

. Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal and recycling practices.

. Clean windows, glass panels, and doors regularly.

. Refill supplies (e.g., hand soap, toilet paper, hand sanitizer).

. Disinfect high-touch areas such as doorknobs, railings, and switches.

. Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Facilities Supervisor.

. Follow cleaning schedules to ensure areas are maintained throughout the day.

. Operate cleaning equipment safely and report malfunctions.

. Support in setting up or cleaning after school events and activities.

. Adhere to school health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
