School Counsellor

Job Description

• Conduct counselling sessions for students, including appointments and walk-in cases.
• Monitor cases and provide professional follow-up and consistent counselling support.
• Update the HOD Student Development on student progress, especially at-risk and high-risk cases.
• Prepare case documents and participate in Case Management Team meetings.
• Manage the online counselling appointment portal.
• Collaborate with school stakeholders in crisis management when required.
• Maintain proper counselling records and ensure smooth handover of cases.

Requirements

• At least a Degree in Counselling.
• Registered with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC).
• Receiving ongoing case supervision from a trained clinical supervisor.
• At least 1 year of counselling experience in MOE secondary schools and/or Junior Colleges.
• Submit written confirmation of supervision, including the supervisor's name, qualifications and supervision frequency.
• Possess relevant counselling certifications andskills.
• Proficient in spoken English ability to speak Chinese is preferred
