Job Description

Lead the finance function for Category & Channel Solutions (CCS) across Rest of World (ROW), providing strategic financial guidance, strengthening financial discipline and accurate reporting, and supporting business growth in alignment with the business strategy.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop financial strategies for ROW and APAC business lines that align with overall business goals and commercial priorities.
  • Lead and govern budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and reporting processes.
  • Direct financial modelling, budgeting and variance analysis to generate insights that enable effective commercial and strategic decision-making, including portfolio management and category development.
  • Lead the accurate and timely submission of financial reporting in line with relevant internal and external requirements.
  • Create an environment that supports compliance with statutory law, internal policies, audit requirements and financial regulations.
  • Maintain, review and enhance internal control safeguards to protect the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
  • Lead the financial analysis of business development opportunities and govern successful business development activity and subsequent integration of new businesses.
  • Ensure effective treasury management, including cash-flow forecasting, funding requirements and disbursements.
  • Monitor developments in finance best practice and integrate relevant improvements into the function.
  • Assess and continuously improve financial and accounting systems, tools and processes.
  • Build value-generating relationships with external stakeholders to represent and strengthen ofi's position.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing finance and accounting function, with strong people practices that support engagement, coaching, mentoring, career paths and the talent pipeline.

What will make the incumbent successful:

Experience

  • More than 15years of finance experience in a global manufacturing or processing company.
  • A strong track record balancing strategic leadership with operational execution.
  • Experience leading diverse, global finance teams and working effectively across a complex stakeholder matrix.
  • Broad financial expertise spanning commercial finance, planning, reporting, controls, compliance and treasury.
  • Demonstrated success in performance improvement, commercial growth and profit enhancement.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant qualification or a related professional finance qualification.
