Job Objectives
Work closely with line managers and employees on day-to-day HR matters. The role focuses on operational HR support, employee lifecycle activities, and implementation of HR policies and initiatives, while building foundational HRBP capabilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Support HO HR in partnering with assigned business units on day-to-day people-related matters.
- Act as a first point of contact for managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and basic employee relations issues
- Build effective working relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide consultation / recommendation
- Address employee concerns, support employee engagement activities to foster a positive workplace culture, ensuring alignment with local labor regulations.
- Responsible for endto-end employee life-cycle activities including recruitment, performance management, talent development, employee movements, and any other life-cycle changes across assigned business units
- Assist in handling employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary cases under guidance from senior HR
- Develop, design and facilitate HR workshops for assigned business units
- Promote a positive employee experience and adherence to company values
- Ensure HR data accuracy in HR systems and employee records
- Support HR audits and ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis as required
- Responsible for submissions of MOM-related surveys and other regulatory reporting requirements
- Co-lead HR initiatives and projects across assigned functions (e.g. policy updates, process improvements)
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve HR processes, people initiatives.
- Conduct training needs analysis using performance data, talent reviews, and stakeholder input
- Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business or HRM with at least 2 years of HR experience in a multinational environment
- Professional HR certification (SHRM, IHRP) is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Singapore labor laws and HR best practices.
- Data driven, proficient in HRIS and Google Suite is a plus.
- Solution driven, adaptable, and energized by working in a dynamic environment.
- Hands-on involvement in at least one HRIS implementation project.
- Experience in facilitating trainings, or experience with Learning & Development
- Ability to work independently, identify issues proactively, propose practical solutions, and escalate matters appropriately when required.
- Comfortable working in a diverse workforce comprising both blue- and white-collar employees.
