SAP Technical & BASIS Consultant (TA/BASIS)
Job Overview
We are looking for a SAP Technical & BASIS Consultant to support system administration, security, and technical operations across SAP landscapes. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise environments and opportunities to grow in SAP BASIS and technical administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform SAP system administration, monitoring, and health checks across environments
- Manage SAP user access, roles, profiles, and authorization controls
- Handle transport management (TMS) across development, QA, and production systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, logs, dumps, and background jobs
- Support system installations, upgrades, patches, and kernel updates
- Assist in system refresh, client copies, backup, and restore activities
- Ensure compliance with audit, security, and segregation of duties (SoD) requirements
- Collaborate with ABAP, Functional, Infrastructure, and Security teams
- Maintain comprehensive system and process documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Open to candidates with relevant SAP exposure in Technical Architecture (TA), network, or infrastructure, even without prior working experience
- Candidates with up to 1-3 years of experience in SAP BASIS / Technical Administration are also welcome
- Basic understanding of SAP system architecture and landscape concepts
- Familiarity with SAP transport management system (TMS)
- Knowledge of SAP authorization concepts, roles, and user administration
- Exposure to SAP HANA/Oracle databases and Linux/Windows environments is an advantage
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Technical Skills (Preferred)
- Experience with SAP transactions: PFCG, SU01, SU10
- Knowledge of authorization tracing tools (SU53, ST01)
- Exposure to SAP monitoring tools (Solution Manager, CCMS)
- Understanding of system performance tuning
- Familiarity with audit compliance and SAP security practices
- Exposure to SAP installation, migration, or cloud environments is a plus

- Work arrangement: Onsite
- Salary: Up to SGD 5,200 (commensurate with experience)
- Contract (Renewable)
