Job Description

TheSAP Supply Chain Solution Architectis responsible for bridging business needs with SAP technology solutions in the SCM Planning domain, with a focus on Inventory Management and Asset Management. You will assess client business requirements, provide recommendations for business improvement anchored on technology solutions, lead software evaluation exercises, and design and architect the right technology solutions. This role involves both pre-sales and project delivery responsibilities.

What will you do

Project Delivery

  • Prepare, review, and deliver SAP Supply Chain Management solutions (SAP MM, SAP PM, and SAP WM) for customers, including proposal writing, presentations, and conducting Proof-of-Concepts to showcase technical feasibility.
  • Propose SAP solutions and select appropriate technologies, estimating resources required to meet customer requirements.
  • Lead business workshops and assessments.
  • Articulate alternatives in terms of cost, benefit, and risk where multiple solutions exist.
  • Highlight the positive impact of NCS solutions in helping customers achieve their business goals.
  • Provide pre-sales delivery of consultancy services to customers globally.

Customer/Vendor Management

  • Effectively engage stakeholders in sales, project decisions, and execution.
  • Build long-term customer relationships by anticipating and exceeding expectations.
  • Identify, build, and manage partnerships with product vendors to strengthen NCS's product capabilities and stay current with emerging technologies.

Business Development

  • Proactively identify opportunities for further expansion or improvement of services delivered to customers, liaising Account Managers for development.
  • Be involved in pre-sales activities, leading key opportunities as needed.

Team Management

  • Coach, train, and mentor Solution Architects.
  • Deliver enablement sessions to NCS presales teams to help articulate NCS's service offerings and solutions, and position them competitively.
  • Develop and continuously improve enablement materials to ensure quality and relevance.
  • Maintain reusable components to facilitate the selling process and ensure consistency in service quality.
  • Contribute to competency enablement throughout the NCS community globally.
  • Develop and manage a focused competency community to support business growth and enhance the NCS brand.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Typically 15-18 years of SAP Supply Chain Management experience (SAP MM, SAP PM, SAP WM modules).
  • Experience in Singapore Public Sector SAP projects.
  • Completed multiple end-to-end project implementations in SAP S/4 HANA, including migration from ECC to S/4 HANA.
  • Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude, creative, with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, including strong persuasive techniques.
  • Able to lead, develop, and maintain respectful and trusting relationships.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Able to travel as required.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
