We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Consultant (Technical) to design, develop, and implement robust SAP solutions. You will act as a technical expert, driving system customizations and integrations while adhering to SAP best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Development and Customization:
- Design and develop technical solutions using SAP technologies, including ABAP, Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Implement custom reports, enhancements, interfaces, conversions, and forms (RICEF) based on business requirements.
- Create and maintain technical specifications, ensuring alignment with functional requirements and system design.
System Integration and Architecture:
- Develop and configure system integrations between SAP modules and external systems using IDOCs, BAPIs, OData services, APIs, and middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI).
- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and ensure seamless integration across SAP modules.
- Optimize system performance through robust technical architecture and proactive monitoring.
Technical Leadership:
- Serve as a technical advisor on SAP projects, providing guidance on solution design, system upgrades, and customizations.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce SAP development standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Mentor junior technical consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Project Support and Delivery:
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including blueprinting, development, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with project managers, functional consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies, tools, and trends, including S/4HANA extensions, BTP capabilities, and cloud-based solutions.
- Proactively identify areas for system optimization and propose innovative solutions to enhance business processes.
- Drive the adoption of Clean Core principles and Fit-to-Standard methodologies.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in SAP technical consulting, including custom development and integrations.
- Proven expertise in ABAP, Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, OData, and SAP BTP.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and development tools.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including Extensibility Framework, In-App and Side-by-Side Extensions.
- Proficiency in RICEF objects, debugging, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Hands-on experience with SAP middleware (PI/PO, CPI) and third-party integration tools.
