The ideal candidate will combine deep accounting knowledge with hands-on SAP project experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology stakeholders across large-scale transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize R2R processes to improve financial close efficiency, reporting accuracy, standardization, and compliance.
  • Support system configuration validation, testing activities (SIT/UAT), defect resolution, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, functional consultants, technical teams, and business users to deliver scalable finance solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial controls, audit requirements, and corporate governance policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and best practices across finance operations and reporting processes.

  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 to 15 years of experience in Record to Report (R2R), General Ledger, Financial Close, Financial Reporting, or Finance Transformation functions.
  • Proven hands-on experience in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, or transformation projects with significant involvement in R2R workstreams.
  • Strong expertise in SAP Finance solutions, including SAP FI and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, business process design, fit-gap analysis, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and financial compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional accounting certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Experience within shared services, global business services, or finance consulting environments.
  • Exposure to SAP Central Finance, SAP Group Reporting, SAP BPC, or related SAP Finance solutions.
  • Experience with automation, intelligent finance solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, or related project delivery certifications.
  • Experience working in regional or global delivery environments.

  • You will also have opportunities to hone your functional skills and expertise in an area of specialization.  We offer a variety of formal and informal training programs at every level to help you acquire and build specialized skills faster. Learning takes place both on the job and through formal training conducted online, in the classroom, or in collaboration with teammates.
