Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Systems (PS) & Plant Maintenance (PM) Lead to lead the design, implementation, enhancement and support of SAP solutions across Project Systems and Plant Maintenance.

The successful candidate will possess strong functional expertise in SAP PS, with particular emphasis on integration with Finance (FI/CO) and Sales & Distribution (SD). The role requires strong knowledge of project financial management, project billing and revenue recognition processes, as well as the ability to engage and manage senior client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, configuration, implementation and enhancement of SAP Project Systems (PS) and Plant Maintenance (PM) solutions.
Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP functional solutions.
Provide functional leadership across the full project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
Manage and support project financial management processes, including budgeting, planning, cost tracking, settlement and financial reporting.
Design and support project billing and revenue recognition processes within SAP.
Ensure effective integration of SAP PS with FI/CO, SD, HCM and other relevant SAP modules.
Work closely with Finance, Sales, HR, operations and technical teams to ensure seamless end-to-end business processes.
Lead workshops and discussions with business users, process owners and senior client stakeholders.
Identify process gaps and recommend SAP solutions and process improvements aligned with business requirements.
Coordinate functional specifications, testing activities, defect resolution and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Support data migration, cutover and deployment activities where required.
Provide guidance and functional leadership to project team members and other SAP consultants.
Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholder expectations to support successful delivery.
Ensure solutions comply with organisational standards, governance requirements and SAP best practices.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant, with strong functional and implementation experience.
Strong expertise in SAP PS, particularly its integration with FI/CO and SD.
Good functional knowledge and experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
Strong understanding of project billing, revenue recognition and project financial management processes.
Demonstrated experience with cross-module SAP integration, particularly FI/CO, SD and HCM.
Experience in SAP implementation, enhancement, rollout and/or transformation projects.
Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP project lifecycle and delivery methodologies.
Proven experience engaging and managing senior client stakeholders.
Ability to facilitate workshops, gather complex business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams in a complex enterprise environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience leading SAP PS/PM workstreams or functional teams.
Experience in large-scale SAP transformation or implementation programmes.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments would be advantageous.
Relevant SAP certification in Project Systems, Plant Maintenance or related modules would be an advantage.
