Overview Task & Responsibilities
The Supplier Management Service delivery team is supporting IT solutions used by the supplier management organization within our customer office on a global base. The supported processes are - Sourcing, Contracting, P2O (purchase to order) for both Direct and Indirect Segments, SLP (Supplier Lifecycle Performance), Guided Buying, Spot Buy, Ariba Network Supply Chain Collaboration, SLP - MDG Integration. Working closely with Process Integration (PI) and ABAP team to analyse the issues and map the process/scenarios on need basis.
Team member of the Supplier Management service delivery team
- Provide 2nd-4th level support to end-users, super users and global process team geographically spread over the world.
- Resolve incident & service request in timely matter with quality in order to meet SLAs, KPIs.
- Deliver GAPs (mini projects) within the area
- Sharing knowledge in area and document the solution in Problem Management Portal or in any central document repository.
- Propose, participate/drive continuous improvement of the service work
- Collaborate with users, business partners, suppliers and other Global IM colleagues (infrastructure & other teams) in order to manage tasks.
- Participate in Innovation Ideation.
Project members where Supplier Management expertise is required will need to be involved in discussions to understand and implement the requirements of the solutions.
.Support is provided on a global base and stakeholders are globally situated. Hence, flexibility to adjust working hours might be required.
Must Have Technical Skillset competence
- MM (Procurement Module) and its integration with FI, SD & Warehouse Mgmt in ECC/S4 HANA
- AN SCC (Ariba Business Network Supplier Chain Collaboration)
- Native Integration: Ariba-SAP ECC/S4, SAP ECC/S4-Ariba, Ariba SLP-MDG using CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway)
- Ariba API Knowledge
- Ariba P2O for Indirect Segments for all scenarios including Guided Buying and Spot Buy with back end integration to ECC/S4 HANA system
- Ariba: Sourcing & Contracting for both Indirect and Direct Segments (including Guided Sourcing)
Good to Have Technical Skillset competence
- Knowledge of Blanket Order, Service Order, Service Entry Sheet, Guided Buying
- Knowledge of customs and trade compliance e.g. IPR (inward processing relief), etc.
- SAP ABAP
- SAP Friori
- POIA (Commercial Automation) & Ariba network
Key competence - Professional Skills & Competences
5 or more years experience with SAP ECC (EHP7 or EHP8)/S4 HANA system.
3 or more year on SAP Ariba and SAP Ariba Business Network
Good technical & functional understanding & knowledge in the area.
By default the candidate should have proven implementation skills through roles in implementation projects or in end-user consulting environment.
- Good understanding of business processes in Supplier Management (i.e. Sourcing and Procurement) or Source to Pay area
- Proven hands-on experience: Either or both, project implementation experience and or service desk level 3 and or 4 experience, will be required.
- Good understanding of SAP on Premise and on Cloud infrastructure architecture standards & components
- Ability to translate user requirements to technical design specifications
- Considered to be an advantage:
- SAP certification in SAP MM / Sourcing and Procurement module in SAP S/4 HANA
- SAP Ariba Certification
- Understanding/ knowledge in ABAP and Fiori
- Understanding / knowledge in SAP Process Integration (PI), Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Rules Management (BRM), SAP BTP and API Management
