SAP Testing Lead

We are seeking an experienced SAP Testing Lead to manage and oversee the end-to-end testing lifecycle for a brownfield S/4HANA implementation project in the retail industry. The role requires strong leadership in planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities across multiple SAP functional areas to ensure a smooth transition and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the overall testing strategy and approach for the S/4HANA brownfield project.
- Coordinate and manage testing cycles including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
- Develop and maintain the test plan, test scripts, and test data in alignment with project objectives.
- Collaborate with functional leads (FICO, SD, MM, PP/QM) to define testing scope and scenarios covering end-to-end business processes.
- Establish and manage defect tracking, resolution, and retesting processes using standard testing tools (e.g., SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, or Tricentis Tosca).
- Coordinate with business users, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure testing alignment and timely defect closure.
- Monitor and report testing progress, quality metrics, and risks to project management.
- Ensure full traceability between test cases and business requirements.
- Lead the cutover testing and go-live readiness validation.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the testing team, ensuring adherence to testing standards and methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of overall SAP experience, with at least 5 years in SAP test management or QA leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing testing in S/4HANA brownfield or greenfield implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules including FICO, MM, SD, PP/QM, and their integration points.
- Proficiency in test management tools such as SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, Jira, or Tricentis Tosca.
- Excellent understanding of testing methodologies (manual and automation) and defect management processes.
- Experience in retail or consumer goods industry testing scenarios preferred.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Experience in Singapore or regional ASEAN projects preferred.
