SAP PP/QM Lead Consultant (Brownfield Implementation Retail Industry)

Project Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PP/QM Lead Consultant to take ownership of the Production Planning and Quality Management (PP/QM) workstream for a brownfield S/4HANA implementation project in the retail industry. The role involves leading solution design, configuration, integration, and deployment activities to support manufacturing and quality processes across the retail supply chain
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the SAP PP/QM stream through all project phases design, realization, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and align them with S/4HANA best practices.
- Define and deliver end-to-end process solutions in Production Planning, Shop Floor Control, and Quality Management.
- Oversee configuration, integration, and migration activities related to PP and QM modules.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the offshore and onsite PP/QM team members.
- Collaborate closely with other functional leads (MM, SD, FICO, EWM) to ensure seamless process integration.
- Drive UAT, prepare test scripts, and coordinate defect resolution.
- Support data migration activities related to BOMs, routings, work centers, inspection plans, and material master data.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, documentation standards, and deliverables timeline.
- Provide go-live readiness support, hypercare assistance, and process stabilization.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of SAP experience, with strong expertise in PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management) modules.
- At least one end-to-end S/4HANA brownfield migration or upgrade project as a PP/QM Lead.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing, quality, and supply chain processes within the retail or consumer goods domain.
- Strong knowledge of MRP, production orders, process orders, capacity planning, and quality notifications.
- Proven experience in team leadership, stakeholder communication, and driving cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiar with S/4HANA simplifications, Fiori apps, and best practice process models.
- Integration experience with MM, SD, PM, and FICO modules.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Regional experience in Singapore or ASEAN projects preferred.
