SAP Fiori / UI5 Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an SAP Fiori / UI5 Developer to design, develop and support responsive enterprise applications. You will translate business requirements into intuitive user interfaces and integrate applications with SAP backend systems using OData services and web services.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse functional requirements and prepare application designs and technical specifications.
Develop and enhance applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
Build responsive interfaces aligned with SAP Fiori design principles and UX standards.
Integrate applications with OData V2/V4 services, SAP Gateway and relevant backend services.
Troubleshoot application defects, integration issues and performance problems.
Write maintainable code that follows development standards and security guidelines.
Conduct testing, participate in code reviews and support deployments.
Maintain technical specifications, system documentation and support records.
Collaborate with functional consultants, backend developers, testers and business stakeholders.
Keep current with relevant SAPUI5, Fiori and SAP BTP capabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
2-6 years of hands-on SAP UI5/Fiori development experience.
Strong proficiency in SAPUI5, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
Good understanding of SAP Fiori design guidelines and responsive application development.
Experience consuming and handling OData V2/V4 services.
Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Fiori Launchpad.
Experience with Git, CI/CD tools and Agile development practices.
Strong debugging, analytical and performance-optimisation skills.
Ability to take ownership of tasks, work independently and resolve issues.
Good written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach.
