About the Role
We are seeking a SAP Finance Business Analyst to be a subject matter expert for the finance stream for our SAP S/4 HANA implementation programme, ensuring that Finance design and business processes are suitable and the IT solution supports the business design.
This role is a full-time role for a period of 12-months. It will be based in Singapore with some travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of standard SAP processes. Operate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Finance processes to advise the Business Process Lead. Provide support to the Finance Business Process Lead throughout the project.
- Review key deliverables, such as blueprints and system designs, during project preparation.
- Identify systemic improvement levers to ensure maximum impact on Filtrona Financials.
- Maintain accountability for business requirements within the assigned area. Ensure the design delivers business benefits through formal sign-off.
- Review change controls to accept, reject, or escalate as necessary. Make trade-off decisions within and between business functions. Resolve escalated issues, clear blockages, and manage functional stakeholders.
- Champion the programme within the business function.
- Drive benefits realisation post-implementation.
- Ensure sufficient and capable functional resources are available at each stage of the programme.
- Provide guidance to the Business Process Lead representing the area.
- Manage process integration, report definitions, and the mapping of associated data objects.
- Define business KPIs for each process to ensure delivery of the benefits case.
- Own User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining required tests and success criteria. Work closely with the Solution Architect and SMEs to ensure the solution is fit for purpose.
- Define non-functional business requirements.
- Assist the Business Change team in identifying key business changes and training needs.
- Represent the business team at Design Authority meetings as required.
- Manage the business process design work and planning for the process area.
- Act as the key contact between the business and IT/SI teams. Collaborate with the project team and Executive Project Sponsor, who retain final decision-making authority. Meet frequently with key programme members to discuss topics and progress.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in Finance and with SAP, including SAP implementation, configuration, and process optimization.
- Proven track record of driving initiatives, ideally in a process improvement or operational excellence role.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry and project implementation experience for global implementation of SAP (S/4 HANA preferred).
- Ability to work across teams (including IT/technical teams), influence without authority, and build consensus. Experience in Southeast Asia region working with multi-cultural teams.
