Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented SAP Finance & Accounting Consultant with strong functional expertise in finance processes and hands-on SAP configuration experience. The role involves working closely with finance stakeholders, supporting implementations, and ensuring smooth financial operations within SAP systems for the duration of the contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve operational issues
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including GL reconciliation
- Configure and maintain SAP Finance modules
- Handle end-to-end processes across GL, AR, AP, and Asset Accounting
- Work on custom finance reports and enhancements
- Support SAP implementation projects (ECC / S/4HANA)
- Debug and analyze issues with technical teams when required
Core Skills
- 3+ Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance Modules
- Strong knowledge of:General Ledger (GL)Accounts Receivable (AR)Accounts Payable (AP)Asset Accounting
- Hands-on configuration experience in SAP Finance modules
- Understanding of finance processes (reconciliation, closing cycles)
- Basic knowledge of SAP ABAP with debugging capability
