SAP FICO/ SDMM Consultant (in-house)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO / SDMM Consultant to join our client's team. This role is critical in driving process efficiency, ensuring seamless integration between finance, controlling, sales, distribution, and materials management modules, and supporting our digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with deep business process knowledge in the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

System Implementation & Support

Configure, customize, and maintain SAP FICO and SDMM modules to meet business requirements.

Provide end-to-end support for SAP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Business Process Optimization

Collaborate with finance, supply chain, and production teams to streamline workflows.

Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements aligned with SAP best practices.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.

Integration & Collaboration

Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP with other business systems.

Support data migration, testing, and validation during project rollouts.

Act as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Training & Documentation

Develop user manuals, training materials, and conduct workshops for end-users.

Maintain clear documentation of system configurations, processes, and changes.


Requirements/ Qualifications

Tertiary education in Information Technology, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP Consultant, with hands-on expertise in FICO OR SD/MM modules.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including procurement, inventory management, and production planning.

Proven track record in SAP implementation projects (full lifecycle preferred).

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC migration or implementation.

Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules.

Project management or change management experience.
