SAP CO Consultant - ECC to S/4HANA RISE Upgrade (Material Ledger Expertise)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in ECC to S/4HANA RISE upgradeprojects. The ideal candidate must possess hands-on experience with Material Ledger configuration and migration, a key differentiator for this role. This is a client-facing position, requiring excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute SAP ECC to S/4HANA RISE upgrade projects, with specific focus on Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules.
- Manage and implement Material Ledger setup, activation, and reconciliation during S/4 transformation.
- Perform system assessments, gap analysis, and solution design for FICO processes during the transition from ECC to S/4.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, PP, SD, CO-PA) to ensure seamless integration and consistency of financial data.
- Work closely with business users to gather requirements, define functional specifications, and validate system configurations.
- Support end-to-end testing, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices, optimization, and simplification features in S/4HANA Finance.
- Conduct client workshops and deliver presentations to key stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 10 years of total SAP FI/CO experience.
- SAP ECC to S/4HANA RISE upgrade experience (minimum one full-cycle project).
- Strong Material Ledger (ML) configuration and implementation expertise.
- Core FICO modules proficiency: GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-CCA, PCA, and Product Costing.
- Excellent understanding of S/4HANA Finance innovations (e.g., Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting).
- Proven client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
