We are seeking an experienced SAP Cloud Enterprise Architect for an initial 12-month contract, with the potential for extension based on individual performance and project needs.
We are looking for a Principal Adviser - Enterprise Architect to join our global digital transformation program, with a focus on the Move & Sell value stream. This strategic role involves guiding architecture decisions, aligning solutions with enterprise standards, and ensuring technical integrity across SAP and integrated platforms-especially within the Sales & Distribution and related domains.
You will act as the key architectural authority across global initiatives, helping to shape and govern SAP S/4HANA migration projects, with particular focus on industries such as Mining or Metals.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture Governance
- Ensure solution designs are aligned with target enterprise architecture and standards.
- Participate in architecture review boards, providing guidance and validation to delivery teams.
- Proactively identify risks of technical debt or architectural drift and provide corrective direction.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with business leaders, delivery teams, and operations to ensure architecture decisions meet strategic business goals.
- Bridge communication gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Solution Design Oversight
- Review and validate architecture and integration designs for critical SAP and surrounding system components.
- Ensure alignment of integration patterns, data flows, and security designs with enterprise architecture.
Risk and Compliance Management
- Identify architectural risks and work with teams to develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to compliance frameworks-covering security, data governance, and regulatory mandates.
Change Impact Assessment
- Evaluate how proposed changes will affect the current architectural landscape.
- Advise on managing complexity, dependencies, and scalability across platforms.
Architecture Repository Management
- Maintain and update enterprise architecture data in LeanIX, ensuring accurate mapping of business capabilities, applications, and technologies.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of SAP ECC experience, with deep expertise in Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong understanding of F&A pricing models and integration with Logistics and Finance modules.
- Multiple SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects, preferably in global environments.
- Experience in Mining or Metals industries is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience working on global projects across multiple time zones and geographies.
- Deploy and configure solutions in the SAP cloud/ cloud operations
- Participates in the continuous improvement of cloud solutions
