We are hiring a SAP IBP Supply Business Analyst to support the migration to SAP IBP for Supply and provide ongoing functional support post go-live. This is a BA-focused role (not heavy technical) that bridges supply chain planning users and SAP SSC / delivery teams to ensure IBP Supply processes are designed, tested, adopted and stabilised. The role includes light configuration and strong involvement in UAT, cutover and hypercare.
Key Responsibilities
IBP Supply Migration & Rollout Support
- Support end-to-end rollout of SAP IBP for Supply: requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis and future-state design.
- Work with stakeholders to define and document IBP Supply planning processes (planning cycles, constraints logic, alerts/exceptions).
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications/user stories and align with SAP SSC/SI on solution approach.
- Coordinate business validations for master data readiness (product-location, sourcing, production versions, lead times, calendars).
Testing, Cutover & Hypercare
- Prepare UAT strategy, test scripts and test data needs for IBP Supply scenarios.
- Execute/coordinate UAT with planners manage defect logging, triage and follow-ups with SAP SSC through closure.
- Support cutover and hypercare activities: readiness checkpoints, issue prioritisation, daily triage routines and user communications.
Steady-State Functional Support (Post Go-Live)
- Provide L2/L3 functional support for IBP Supply: incident analysis, root cause identification and resolution coordination.
- Support recurring planning runs and ensure system outputs align with business expectations.
- Drive continuous improvements: enhancements, minor process optimisation, knowledge base updates and user refresher training.
Light Configuration & Governance
- Perform/support basic IBP configuration for IBP Supply (simple settings changes, parameter updates) within governance.
- Coordinate complex changes with SAP SSC/technical team, ensuring functional integrity and business sign-off.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst in supply chain planning systems with SAP exposure.
- Hands-on exposure to SAP IBP, preferably IBP for Supply (implementation, migration, rollout or support).
- Strong understanding of supply planning concepts: supply/capacity constraints, sourcing logic, lead times, planning cycles and exception management.
- Proven experience in requirements documentation, process mapping and UAT coordination.
- Comfortable working with SAP SSC/external vendors and business stakeholders across functions.
