SAP BI & Data Engineer (1-year contract, extendable)

Key Responsibilities

• Support and co-lead the reporting team, mentoring members to deliver high-quality BI & Analytics solutions.
• Manage the development, deployment, and maintenance of reports using the SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) suite.
• Handle BOBJ administration tasks such as user management, security, folder grouping, and authorization.
• Develop REST API integrations to enable seamless data exchange between BOBJ and external systems.
• Build HANA ABAP CDS views, ABAP RAP services, and SEGW Fiori Gateway services for reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
• Design and deliver Web Intelligence (WebI) reports, dashboards, and custom layouts.
• Perform Analytics CDS data modeling to generate actionable insights.
• Implement CDS authorization and SAP security mechanisms to ensure compliance and governance.
• Act as secondary incident manager, supporting timely resolution and escalation of reporting issues.

Key Requirements

• Strong expertise in SAP BOBJ BO/BI, WebI, ABAP CDS, and Analytics Data Modelling.
• Hands-on experience in REST API programming and integrating SAP with external systems.
• Proven background in operational BI roles, ensuring system availability and performance.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently while leading and guiding a team.
• Flexibility to work extended hours to meet critical program timelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
