Responsibilities:
- Manage installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, administration, and monitoring of SAP systems including:
- SAP NetWeaver, SAP Solution Manager, SAP ECC
- Databases: SAP HANA, Sybase ASE, SAP IQ
- Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux
- Microsoft Applications: Active Directory, System Center Suite
- Management Tools: SCCM, WSUS, SEPM, SCVMM
- Virtualization Platforms: VMware, Hyper-V
- Storage & Backup: Symantec NetBackup
- Web Tools: F5 Load Balancer, Proxy/Reverse Proxy, Apache, IIS, SAP Web Dispatcher
- Implement IT security hardening on Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Perform SAP system cloning/copy (Heterogeneous/Homogeneous).
- Execute SAP backup and restore procedures tailored to database and OS-specific systems.
- Work independently to manage timelines, deliverables, and expectations with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders, demonstrating excellent planning, communication, and coordination skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science or in related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems implementation, and support.
- Hands-on experience with SAP client copies, system cloning, transport management, user account management, patching, and backup/restore.
- Must have experience in installation and maintenance of core SAP platforms.
- Good to have experience in administration of Microsoft technologies and Linux systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
