Overview:
We are seeking a skilled SAP Basis Consultant with minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP system administration, performance tuning, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patch management across ECC, Portal, BW, and other SAP modules.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply corrective measures to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with functional teams to support project implementations and resolve technical issues.
- Manage SAP transport requests, client copies, and system refresh activities.
- Administer SAP user management, roles, and authorizations in coordination with the security team.
- Implement and maintain SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring and change management.
- Ensure database administration (HANA, Oracle, or other supported DBs) and backup/recovery processes are in place.
- Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and compliance with IT policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of proven SAP Basis administration experience.
- Good knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, and database technologies (HANA, Oracle, or SQL).
- Experience with OS-level administration relevant to SAP environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-hosted SAP solutions is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
