Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant to support, administer, and optimize enterprise SAP landscapes across multiple SAP platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for SAP BASIS administration, system performance tuning, technical troubleshooting, implementation support, and ensuring the stability, availability, and security of SAP environments. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently while collaborating with cross-functional SAP teams to deliver reliable and high-performing SAP solutions.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 6+ years of SAP BASIS administration experience in enterprise SAP environments.

- Experience supporting multiple SAP landscapes within complex business environments.

Mandatory Skills

- Hands-on SAP BASIS administration experience in: SAP ECC, SAP GTS, SAP SCM, SAP BI/BW, SAP PI/PO, SAP Solution Manager

- Strong experience with SAP system monitoring, performance tuning, and technical troubleshooting.

- Experience supporting SAP implementation, upgrade, migration, and rollout projects.

- Knowledge of SAP transport management, system refreshes, client copies, and administration activities.

- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA and Oracle databases.

- Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems.

- Experience collaborating with SAP ABAP, infrastructure, performance, and production support teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- SAP S/4HANA migration or upgrade experience.

- SAP cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Experience with SAP security administration and audit compliance activities.

- Automation and scripting experience for SAP administration tasks.

- SAP BASIS, HANA, or cloud-related certifications.

- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or enterprise ERP environments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Administer, maintain, and support SAP environments including ECC, GTS, SCM, BI, PI, and Solution Manager.

- Perform SAP installations, upgrades, patches, migrations, system refreshes, and technical configurations.

- Monitor system health, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement tuning recommendations to ensure optimal system performance.

- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve SAP BASIS, database, operating system, and infrastructure-related issues.

- Support SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and enhancement projects.

- Manage transport requests, system landscape changes, and technical deployments across SAP environments.

- Collaborate closely with ABAP developers, performance teams, infrastructure teams, and production support teams to resolve technical challenges.

- Ensure system availability, security, backup, recovery, and operational readiness.

- Support SAP HANA and Oracle database administration activities where required.

- Maintain technical documentation, system procedures, and operational standards.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SAP platform stability, efficiency, and performance.
