About the Role::
We are looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect to lead end-to-end solution design with Salesforce as the core platform. You will act as the design authority, defining architecture, governance, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities::
- Own end-to-end architecture across Salesforce clouds and integrated systems.
- Define and enforce design standards, governance, and best practices.
- Produce key artefacts: solution architecture, integration design, data model, and security model.
- Ensure optimal configuration vs customization (80:20) balance.
- Lead solution design, integration patterns (API-led, event-driven, batch), and data architecture & migration.
- Conduct technical workshops and guide teams through build, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
- Manage technical risks, dependencies, and release strategy (SFDX, CI/CD, environments).
- Advise stakeholders on architecture roadmap, trade-offs, and scalability.
- Mentor team members and drive capability development and best practices.
- Support pre-sales activities including solutioning and effort estimation (as needed).
Must Have Skills & Experience::
- 10+ years in enterprise software delivery with 8+ years in Salesforce (pre-sales & implementation).
- Salesforce Architect Certifications (Application Architect / System Architect).
Strong expertise in:
- Salesforce multi-cloud architecture
- Security & sharing model
- Data modeling
- Apex & LWC patterns
- Performance & scalability
Experience in:
- Integration architecture (MuleSoft/API-led, batch, event-driven)
- DevOps & CI/CD (SFDX, source-driven development, pipelines)
Strong fundamentals in:
- OOP, design patterns, databases (SQL/NoSQL), testing strategies
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
Good to Have::
- Consulting/IT services experience.
- Additional Salesforce certifications (OmniStudio, Industries, Integration, JS Developer).
- MuleSoft certification.
- TOGAF or cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Hands-on coding background (Apex/Java, LWC, JavaScript).
- Experience in regulated/public sector environments.
