Salesforce Functional Solution Lead

Job Description:

• Drive the functional design and successful delivery of Salesforce solutions.
• The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, technical architects, and development teams to ensure Salesforce implementations align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders.
• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
• Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions using standard platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads on solution design.
• Configure and develop solutions within PSS (Public Sector Solutions) with hands-on expertise.
• Lead functional consultants and mentor junior team members.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirement prioritization.
• Support system integration, data migration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure solution quality and adherence to Salesforce best practices.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and provide project status updates.
• Drive user adoption through training and change management activities.
• Support production deployments and post-go-live stabilization.

Requirements:

• Process mapping (BPMN)

• Data migration concepts
• Integration fundamentals (REST APIs, middleware)
• Security and sharing model understanding
• UAT planning and execution

Required Experience:

• 6-10+ years of IT consulting experience.
• 5-8+ years of Salesforce implementation experience.
• Experience leading end-to-end Salesforce implementation projects.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.

Preferred Certifications:

• Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Salesforce Business Analyst
• Salesforce Platform App Builder
• Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant
• Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant
• Experience Cloud Consultant (preferred)
• Platform Strategy Designer (preferred)

Leadership Responsibilities:

• Lead functional workstreams.
