Salesforce Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team and support the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce-based solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, functional consultants, and business analysts to deliver scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions aligned with business requirements.

This role involves developing custom functionalities, automation, and integrations while ensuring adherence to technical governance and development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with solution architects, functional consultants, and business analysts to deliver Salesforce-based solutions.

• Analyse technical requirements and actively own development work items to implement required functionalities.

• Develop automation using Apex and build custom user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniScript, and Visualforce.

• Customise Salesforce objects including object creation, fields, page layouts, and record types.

• Propose alternative technical solutions based on experience and best practices where applicable.

• Follow established technical governance, development standards, and best practices.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including technical specifications and development artefacts.

• Participate actively in the full project lifecycle, including development, testing, and deployment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues in a timely manner.

• Identify potential technical risks and proactively propose mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Salesforce development.

• Certified in Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Apex classes and triggers

  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  • Visualforce

  • Salesforce automation and customization

• Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, development, and deployment processes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, release management, and system integrations is preferred.

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and project delivery processes.

• Experience working on public sector projects will be an added advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet project deadlines.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
