1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis
Lead discovery workshops and interviews with stakeholders to understand business processes and pain points.
Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Analyse current workflows to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within the Salesforce ecosystem.
2. Solution Design & Configuration
Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators and Developers to design scalable solutions (leveraging native functionality whenever possible).
Create process maps, data flow diagrams, and wireframes to visualize solutions for stakeholders.
Assist with basic configuration tasks (reports, dashboards, page layouts) to prototype solutions.
3. Project Management & Documentation
Maintain the product backlog, prioritising features based on business value and ROI.
Document as-is and to-be processes to ensure institutional knowledge is preserved.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives).
4. Quality Assurance & Adoption
Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including writing test scripts and triaging bugs.
Create training materials and release notes for end-users.
Monitor user adoption rates and propose strategies to increase engagement with the platform.
Experience: 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and its capabilities vs. limitations.
Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
Methodology: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Business Analyst.
Specialised Clouds: Experience with [CPQ, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Field Service Lightning].
Tools: Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or Copado.
