Adecco is partnering with a Global Online Trading Platform client, and we are currently looking for a Sales Trader / Institutional Salesperson to join their business.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Account Management
- Develop and execute strategies to grow trading activity among High-Net-Worth retail and Accredited Investor clients in Singapore.
- Take ownership of the sales trading proposition, partnering closely with the broader sales team to drive client acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Generate new business through networking, referrals, seminars, and industry events, including the preparation of tailored client materials where needed.
- Deliver high-quality relationship management to premium clients, providing a personalized and responsive trading experience.
- Handle client enquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a smooth journey from onboarding through to long-term retention.
- Identify opportunities to educate clients on available products and services while contributing ideas to enhance the overall client offering.
- Maintain strong market awareness to support trade execution and share relevant market insights with clients.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Trading and Operations teams, to improve the end-to-end client experience and platform usability.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement, including participation in client events outside regular office hours where required.
- Partner with senior leadership to achieve revenue goals and contribute to broader commercial and marketing initiatives.
- Serve as a key internal and external point of contact for product and platform knowledge, including demonstrations and client education.
Product & Platform Expertise
- Act as the subject matter expert on the firm's products and trading platform, supporting both internal teams and external clients with demonstrations, training, and guidance.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Trader on another trading platform.
- Demonstrated track record in both B2C and B2B business development.
- Existing network or transferable client relationships would be a strong advantage.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of global financial markets and multiple asset classes.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong phone-based sales and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage priorities effectively.
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Experience executing trades accurately and efficiently on behalf of clients.
- Familiarity with trading platforms and phone-based dealing processes.
- Ability to communicate client orders clearly and effectively to relevant internal trading stakeholders.
