What the role involves:
- Manage and coordinate tender submissions in collaboration with the Sales team, aligning strategies to achieve business targets.
- Organize and maintain the tender calendar to ensure a proactive and systematic approach to tender management.
- Work closely with Airfreight (AFF) and Ocean Freight (OFF) Procurement teams on suggested selling rates and minimum selling rates.
- Support the Sales team with tariff management and special handling requirements to enable competitive client offerings.
- Collaborate with AFF/OFF teams on trade lane development initiatives to drive business growth.
- Conduct post-mortem reviews with Sales on tender outcomes and sales quotations to maintain competitive pricing and provide valuable insights for future submissions.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in tender support, pricing, or sales coordination in the logistics/freight forwarding industry is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot, Word)
