SALES & TECHNICAL ASSISTANT ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Responsible for attending incoming customer enquiries, propose suitable products and provide remote support to external sales team for technical requirements and customers follow up during their absence.

2. Reports to the Sales and Technical Manager to support on sales and technical related matters.

3. Support sales and project initiatives, e.g attending online meeting, communicate with external vendors for sourcing of products and services for the fulfilment of customer's enquiries and orders, customer's technical clarifications.

4. Coordination with other departments to provide quotations, proposals, deliveries updates to customers.

5. This role has progression opportunities to Outdoor Sales Engineer, Technical Engineer or Project Engineer.

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma in any Technical Engineering discipline.

2. Preferable 1 to 2 year work experience in Sales / Service related, or in a Sales / Service supporting role.

3. Knowledge in fluid systems, piping, tubing, valves, fitting will be an advantage.

4. Experience in relation to the Oil & Gas industry is advantageous but not a requirement.

5. Basic to intermediate use of MS Office Outlook, Excel, Word is a requirement.

6. Good communication skills in written English and able to converse in both English and Mandarin is a requirement.

7. Good Emotional Quotient as required to communicate directly with both customers and vendors.

8. Understand basic rational relating to business profits and losses.

Others:

1. Able to understand simple Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) is advantageous.

2. Knowledge and experience in analytical and instrumentation industry is advantageous.

3. Technical and product training will be provided.

4. Full time position and 5 days work week.
