Sales Support

We are currently conducting a search for one of our key clients, a leading service and spare parts provider of marine pumps. The position is for a Sales Support in Singapore (office is located in Benoi) to handle incoming inquiries, orders and translating them into purchase requests and orders. You will be dealing with ship owners, managers, chandlers and ship supply companies.

As they sell technical items, this will require you to investigate which parts the client needs and, from there, set a competitive offer. The job is a great combination between technical and sales. You will be in close contact with the customers by following up on quotes and orders and you will be challenged technically in finding the right solution for them. Key challenge is to locate the right suppliers and finding the best solution for the customer in order for them to receive their parts in time.

Requirements:

• To be able to learn about product technicalities to provide the right solution to clients
• To be commercially oriented, people's person and desire to deal with clients
• Previous experience in maritime or O&G is a must
• Previous experience dealing with mechanical equipment, services or spare parts
