AP Oil International Limited, formerly known as Huan Chew Oil Trading Pte Ltd, was incorporated in 1975 as a lubricant distributor. We ventured into manufacturing in 1981 and set up the first Singaporean-owned lubricant plant in the Republic. A milestone was reached in 1988 with the establishment of our second lube plant, Alpha Pacific Petroleum (S) Pte Ltd. This wholly-owned subsidiary has a private jetty capable of berthing vessels of up to 3,000 metric tonnes and a storage terminal with a total capacity of about 6,000 metric tonnes. We acquired A.I.M Chemical Industries Pte Ltd in 2000 to expand our business into specialty chemicals. This wholly-owned subsidiary operates a chemical blending plant providing toll-blending and contract manufacturing services mainly for multi-national companies. AP Oil was listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange in 2001 and upgraded to mainboard in 2003. Our Group is principally engaged in business of lubricants and specialty chemicals. We operate 6 manufacturing plants, 3 for the manufacturing of lubricants and 2 for specialty chemicals. Two of our lubricants plants are equipped with terminals and a private jetty. Our products are marketed in some 20 countries and regions namely Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, The Philippines, Bangladesh, Nepal, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Fiji and middle east countries, etc.

Job Summary

Manage and coordinate toll blending orders and logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of finished goods. Collaborate with internal teams and 3PL providers to optimize supply chain performance and prepare comprehensive sales and operational reports.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to sales and order enquiries to support customer satisfaction and sales continuity
  • Process and plan toll blending orders accurately to meet production and delivery schedules
  • Issue blending notices to communicate production requirements effectively
  • Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished goods to destinations and customer vessels
  • Prepare and issue delivery notices and invoices to maintain clear transaction records
  • Manage shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists to ensure compliance and smooth customs clearance
  • Monitor and coordinate the supply and purchase of raw materials to maintain uninterrupted production flow
  • Arrange import and export logistics for raw materials and finished goods to support international trade operations
  • Prepare monthly and yearly sales reports analyzing customer activity and sales trends to inform business decisions
  • Monitor costs and performance metrics of 3PL providers to optimize logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to support operational needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant working experience in supply chain or logistics operations
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles and practices
  • Basic computing skills applied to order processing, reporting, and communication
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams, customers, and logistics partners
