Job Description

GAC Singapore is part of the GAC Group, the world's leading provider of shipping, logistics and marine services with over 300 offices worldwide. As part of their global expansion, we are looking for a qualified Sales Support Executive for the oil & gas, logistics team based in Singapore.

Sales Support Executive

The incumbent will be responsible for supporting sales operations and customer engagement activities, with a focus on lead generation, quotation management, and customer relationship development. This role involves proactive outreach, campaign coordination, and market research to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.



Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new customers via various platforms and leads.
  • Identify new business opportunities and follow up on potential leads.
  • Perform telemarketing and conduct visits to both potential and existing customers.
  • Arrange and support local sales campaigns for visiting overseas partners/agents.
  • Prepare quotations in line with company guidelines.
  • Submit and follow up on quotations promptly with potential customers.
  • Handle customer complaints and disputes professionally, ensuring service recovery and satisfaction.
  • Participate in customer relationship management activities to retain and grow sales.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop tailored solutions that meet their business needs.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor dynamics.
  • Other functions as appointed.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Tertiary qualifications
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or related roles.
  • Preferably with knowledge of Energy products, Project cargo, or oversize cargo handling.

Other Requirements

  • Proactive and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer engagement strategies.
  • Good team player with the ability to build rapport and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Interest in continuous learning and market awareness.
