A Sales Supervisor plays a critical role insupporting the success of an organization.They are the leader in coordinating theday-to-day activities of the salesrepresentatives and ensuring that they aremeeting their goals. The sales supervisormust work closely with the store manager,general manager, and production managerto communicate changing customer needs.As a liaison between the organization andthe customers, the production supervisormust anticipate changing customer needsand design products that meet suchneeds.
Sales Supervisor Job Responsibilities
Supervise the activities of the salesteam including marketing activitieslike product activations.Assist the line manager to recruit,training, enumerating, and retaining acompetent sales team.Provide reports to top managementlike sales reports, lead generationreports, customer complaints reports,and new customers on-boardedreports.Prepare sales presentations and othersales tools.Assist the line managers to ensureadequate client communication,maintain contacts with clients andprovide feedback.Initiate sales activities, strategies, andsales plans required to build brandvisibility.Serve as a point of reference toemployees in terms of showing greatwork ethic, habits, personal character,and professional character.Develop and maintain accuraterecords of prospects, leads, pricing,sales activities, and active clients.
Controlling company marketingexpenses to ensure the marketingexpenditure is kept within budget.Attend trade shows and othermarketing events and represent theorganization.Evaluate the performance of the salesteam and seek ways to improve theteam's performance.Identify the trends in the market, bothcurrent, and future that are likely toa!ect the performance of theorganization.Ensure the items are displayedcorrectly in the malls, supermarkets,and other sales points.

Skills/Abilities/Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in a businessrelated course with emphasis onmarketing.Proven work experience in marketingand achieving set targets.Excellent communication skills, bothwritten and verbal communication.Ability to lead and motivate a salesteam, and put in place measures toretain a great team.Excellent selling skills, ability to closedeals, and deal with post-purchaseanxiety.Excellent selling skills, peopleoriented, and ability to motivate ateam.Ability to identify potential areas ofgrowth and identify new businesspartnership opportunities.Strong organization skills and multitasking skills.The ability to work under pressure.Availability to work within openinghours (e.g. evenings, holidays,weekends).
