Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated, ambitious, and tech-savvy Sales Specialist (m/f/d) with excellent communication skills to drive a growing business in selected developing Southeast Asia Regions.

You will be responsible for selected BICO's Life Science Solutions product portfolio encompassing our award-winning devices which are used at prestigious academic and pharmaceutical labs around the world to automate workflows in numerous application areas, including stable cell line development, single-cell omics, high-throughput screening, drug discovery and cell-imaging microscopy portfolio.

This position provides a great opportunity to work with unique and patented technologies that can make a big impact in cutting edge applications with biotechs, biopharmas as well as academic clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and be responsible for commercial success in selected developing Southeast Asia regions for our entire Biosciences product portfolio including our cutting-edge bioprinting, single-cell dispensers, liquid dispensers, microscopes and centrifugal plate washers
  • Identify opportunities, manage accounts and arrange prospect meetings
  • Generate potential leads via field visits, email campaigns, seminars or any other methods
  • To work with Field Application Scientist to conduct compelling live or remote system demonstrations and presentations to prospects
  • Develop and execute smart concepts to build efficient sales processes together with our product management and field support team
  • Develop applications with customers and ensure customer success in the context of our target markets
  • Represent our company at scientific conferences and trade fairs
  • Work closely with the executive management, product management, marketing team as well as the customer support to drive initiatives and enhance campaigns
  • To work consistently to achieve sales KPIs set
  • To be able to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams
  • To collaborate with managers and global team to implement localised sales strategies
  • To be on the ground to aggressively hunt for new customers
  • To accurately and consistently utilize Salesforce CRM system

Qualifications

  • University degree in life sciences, biology or similar field preferred
  • 2 3 years of relevant experience as Sales Specialist or Field Application Scientist for laboratory equipment in life sciences
  • Experience working with distributors would be advantageous
  • Technical expertise with lab devices or tech-savvy personality with a hands-on and hunter mentality
  • Exemplary communication and confident negotiation skills
  • High self-motivation, good planning, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRMs (Salesforce)
  • Willingness to travel as and when required
  • Being bilingual would be preferred
