Job Description

Our client is a Japanese company specializing in oil/petrochemical terminals and port operations. They are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Sales & Service Engineer to join their team.

Sales: 70% & Service: 30%

Responsibilities
- Promote sales activities and collaborate with manufacturers, consultants, and contractors to drive business opportunities.
- Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and job quotations for ad hoc requests from clients and end-users.
- Manage and coordinate with term contractors and key partners to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Attend to customer requests and provide appropriate solutions in a professional and timely manner.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls in the event of equipment malfunction or failure.
- Manage and maintain ISO documentation in compliance with company standards.

Requirement

Requirements & Preferences

(Must)
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales of marine-related products
- Excellent command of both English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving license (required for site visits)
- Willingness to work in a small team environment
- Must be able to lift, as the role involves handling and carrying heavy equipment
- Open to occasional overseas travel for site visits and project follow-ups

(Advantageous)
- Experience in site testing and commissioning
- Knowledge of Wharf and Jetty Equipment design and fabrication
- Experience in propulsion system installation, integration, alignment, and repair
