range of asset classes including equities, fixed income, hedge funds, real estate, venture capital/private equity funds, and direct investments.
Paeonia Group is now expanding its commercial operations in the quantum technology sector, acting as a regional distributor and solutions partner for a curated portfolio of leading quantum computing hardware manufacturers. The Sales & Service Engineer will be a key commercial and technical face of this business unit, responsible for driving product sales and delivering high-quality pre- and post-sales technical support to research institutions, national laboratories, universities, and enterprise customers across Asia-Pacific.

Primary Responsibilities and Objectives:

Sales & Business Development

Identify, qualify, and actively pursue sales opportunities for quantum computing hardware products with a focus on Singapore, Taiwan, and other markets in Southeast Asia.
Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share for Paeonia Group's quantum hardware portfolio.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at research institutes, universities, national laboratories, government agencies, and enterprise quantum teams.
Represent Paeonia at quantum computing conferences, trade shows, and industry events to develop leads and stay abreast of market developments
Collaborate with manufacturer partners on joint sales campaigns, co-marketing activities, and channel development
Prepare and deliver compelling technical sales proposals, quotations, and tender responses tailored to customer requirements.
Track and report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and market intelligence using CRM tools, providing regular updates to management.

After-Sales Service
Coordinate and oversee product installation, commissioning, and integration support at customer sites, working alongside manufacturer field engineers where required.
Serve as the primary point of contact for ongoing customer technical inquiries, warranty matters, and service escalations, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.

Operational Activities
Prepare, edit, and design professional presentations and product proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate logistics, shipping, and import/export compliance for quantum hardware deliveries across the Asia-Pacific region.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of export control regulations relevant to quantum technologies (e.g., EAR,dual-use goods frameworks).

Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree from a leading university in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Quantum Engineering, Applied Physics, or a closely related field.
At least 3-6 years of experience in a technical sales, application engineering, or field service role within quantum technologies, cryogenic systems, scientific instrumentation, or advanced laboratory equipment.
Strong working knowledge of quantum computing hardware ecosystems, including superconducting qubit platforms, cryogenic infrastructure, quantum control electronics, and/or photonic quantum systems.
Demonstrated ability to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both expert(physicists, engineers) and non-expert (procurement, business) audiences.
