We are Scents & Blends Pte Ltd Our plants are in Singapore and Vietnam, specializing in producing flavors and fragrances for food and beverage industry. Our plants have been selling throughout Southeast Asia countries including Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Representative with experience in the flavor industry to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will support sales supports by building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our innovative flavor solutions to meet customer needs.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Assist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients in Flavor industry.
- Support senior sales team members in preparing proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and trends within the flavor and food ingredients sector
- collaborate with internal teams (e.g., R&D, marketing) to ensure client requirements for flavor solutions are met
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote products and gather insights.
- Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and customer feedback using CRM tools.
- Stay updated on flavor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Business, Chemistry, Food Science or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably within flavor, food or beverage industry.
- Basic understanding of flavor development, applications or sensory trends. Knowledge of flavor profiles, food formulations or ingredients sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Proactive, organized and able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings of industry events as needed
- Experience working with food manufacturers, beverage companies or flavor houses
- Fluent in English
