Our client is a well-established MNC specializing in industrial piping systems and flow solutions, with a strong global presence across infrastructure, utilities, and high-tech industries. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Sales Project Manager to support growth within the cooling and data centre segment. They are located in the (East) - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business development activities within the data centre and cooling segment by promoting piping system solutions and related services
- Identify, develop, and convert project opportunities to achieve assigned sales and margin targets
- Build and maintain a strong project pipeline through proactive prospecting and market engagement
- Develop market strategies based on analysis of industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities
- Manage full sales cycle including opportunity identification, proposal development, tender submission, and project award
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders on technical proposals, delivery planning, and project execution requirements
- Maintain accurate project tracking and reporting through CRM systems
- Engage consultants, developers, contractors, and end-users to influence project specifications and secure business opportunities
- Conduct market research using industry platforms and networks to identify new business opportunities
- Monitor market movements and adjust sales strategies to strengthen competitive positioning
- Support participation in industry events, technical presentations, and customer engagement activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives
- Expand market presence across commercial, industrial, and district cooling projects
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
- Relevant experience in project sales within cooling, HVAC, or data centre environments
- Strong understanding of cooling systems, industrial applications, and building-related standards
