Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible individual with strong English communication skills to join our boutique jewellery studio as a Sales Executive.

Our company creates personalised jewellery using meaningful materials such as hair, fur, or ashes, allowing customers to celebrate important life moments and honour loved ones. Many of our customers come to us during emotional periods, so we are looking for someone who is empathetic, patient, and able to communicate clearly and professionally.

This role focuses on managing customer enquiries, conducting showroom consultations, coordinating orders, and ensuring a smooth customer experience from first contact to final collection.

You will play an important role in ensuring customers feel comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their journey.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Consultation & Sales

  • Attend to walk-in customers and online enquiries in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Explain our products and process clearly and confidently in English
  • Conduct showroom consultations and assist customers with selecting suitable options
  • Follow up on enquiries and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Ensure a positive and reassuring customer experience

Customer Communication & Coordination

  • Respond to customer enquiries via WhatsApp, email, and other channels
  • Schedule appointments and manage showroom calendar
  • Guide customers through each step of the order process
  • Ensure accurate recording of customer requirements and order details

Order Processing & Fulfilment

  • Coordinate customer orders and ensure accuracy of order information
  • Prepare and pack jewellery orders carefully
  • Arrange shipment or collection of completed orders
  • Ensure proper documentation and packaging standards are maintained

Showroom Operations

  • Ensure showroom is attended during operating hours
  • Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of the showroom
  • Ensure display items are organised and presentable

Partnerships & Business Support

  • Assist in reaching out to potential partners such as funeral homes, pet service providers, or related businesses
  • Support preparation of materials for partnerships or events
  • Assist with simple administrative and coordination tasks when required

Requirements

  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic personality
  • Comfortable interacting with customers in a professional setting
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
  • Able to communicate clearly and confidently
  • Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Prior experience in retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service is preferred

Working Hours

Full-time position
Retail hours:
Tuesday-Friday: 9.30am-7pm
Saturday: 9.30am-5pm

Salary

$3,000 - $3,600 per month, depending on experience
Performance incentives may be provided
