Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description
This role oversees all aspects of meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions/events, driving occupancy, venue usage, and revenue.

  • Oversee daily hotel operations including front of house and kitchen activities
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and customer handling regulations
  • Monitor and control inventory & costs
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Analyze sales, expenses, and profitability implement cost control measures
  • Drive sales growth through promotions, upselling, and local marketing
  • Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement staff development plans
  • Schedule staff and manage labor costs effectively
  • Ensure exceptional service standards and handle customer complaints professionally
  • Monitor customer feedback and continuously improve service quality
  • Work with marketing teams or independently plan promotions

Strategic Planning & Business Development

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the segment to drive hotel occupancy and maximize venue usage.

Conduct market research and analyze trends to adjust pricing strategies, event packages, and target markets.

Prepare marketing concept papers, proposals, and strategic plans for events.

Client Relationship Management

Oversee key accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and prompt resolution of client concerns.

Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, clients, and stakeholders to generate repeat and referral business.

Collaborate closely with clients and operations teams to understand event requirements and close service gaps.

Sales Performance & Revenue Growth

Monitor and guide the sales team to achieve revenue targets across venue, hotel, F&B & attractions.
Assist the Senior Director of Partnerships & Sales in driving business performance and provide timely updates on progress.
Prepare and manage budgets, monitor yield and occupancy performance, and generate regular sales performance reports.
Develop and refine Corporate Sales product offerings, ensuring they meet market demand and align with brand strategy.
Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Hotels & Corporate Sales.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Dynamic 365 for business needs.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Corporate Sales industry, including trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, site inspections, and industry events.
