Sales Merchandiser

Wipro Consumer Care Singapore Pte. Ltd. distributes a comprehensive range of personal care products across Singapore. Our portfolio includes well known and trusted brands such as Bio essence, Derma Lab, Eversoft, Enchanteur, Safi, and Ebene. We operate in a fast moving consumer goods environment (FMCG) and are committed to building our strong brands, developing our people, and delivering excellence at retail.

We are looking for a Sales Merchandiser to strengthen our in store execution, primarily within supermarkets and extended retail channels.

Retail Merchandising and Execution

1. Visit assigned outlets to merchandise products effectively.
2. Ensure products are well displayed with adequate stock levels in accordance with planograms and brand guidelines.
3. Negotiate for additional space for product displays
4. Maintain clean, well faced shelves and secondary displays to maximize product visibility.
5. To get direct orders to achieve sales by negotiating with individual store managers

Promotions and In Store Activities

1. Execute promotional displays, price labels, and point of sale materials accurately and on time.
2. Support in-store activity and atrium/roadshow set up in accordance to operation plans.
3. Ensure displays and pricing are aligned with agreed promotional periods and requirements.

Stock Management

1. Coordinate replenishment and ordering with relevant internal team to avoid out of stock situations.
2. Apply First In First Out practices to maintain product freshness and reduce returns.
3. Monitor inventory conditions and flag risks or issues promptly.

Relationship Building

1. Build strong working relationships with store managers and retail staff.
2. Resolve basic store level issues and escalate when needed.

Reporting and Market Feedback

1. Provide regular feedback on sales performance, merchandising conditions, and competitor activity.
2. Support merchandising related assignments as required by the management team.

Requirements and Profile

1. Open to candidates with varying levels of experience. Prior merchandising experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
2. Self motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a field based role.
3. Comfortable working in a fast paced retail environment.
4. Willingness to travel across assigned outlets in Singapore.
5. Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow in the FMCG industry.
