About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager with a strong background in freight forwarding and logistics to drive new business development and manage key customer accounts. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the company's customer base while maintaining long-terms relationships with existing clients.

They will work closely with internal teams and global partners to deliver reliable logistics and supply chain solutions to customers, while contributing to the company's revenue growth and market expansion.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities while managing existing key customer accounts to achieve sales and revenue targets
  • Lead new business development (50%) and key account management (50%) initiatives to drive revenue growth and strengthen long-term partnerships within the freight forwarding and logistics sector
  • Execute cross-trade shipments related to Singapore operations and coordinate with overseas agents and network partners when required
  • Prepare and issue quotations, RFQs, and tender proposals, while reviewing freight rates and pricing strategies.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational terms & conditions, securing necessary internal approvals before submission to customers
  • Maintain strong working relationships with shipping carriers, co-loaders, and logistics partners to ensure service reliability and competitive pricing
  • Achieve and surpass established sales targets by generating revenue and contributing to the company's gross profit
  • Monitor and report on sales pipeline, business opportunities, key performance indicators (KPIs) to management on a regular basis
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of customer requirements.
  • Identify potential customers, generate new sales opportunities, and convert prospects into revenue- generating accounts
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and business development initiatives
  • Reporting to Managing Director and Sales Manager on current market information regularly

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, third-party logistics (3PL), distribution, or warehousing.
  • Proven experience in business development and/or key account management.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and results-driven with strong sales planning and execution skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present logistics services to customers.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and propose appropriate logistics solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for sales presentations and proposals.
  • Strong sales presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Customer-oriented with strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
